A standard three-bedroom semi is usually five to eight working days on site. Bigger roofs, steep Victorian pitches and slate work take longer. A schedule comes with the quote.

No. All the work is outside, and we re-cover in sections so the house is weathertight every evening. Expect scaffold and noise, but normal living.

Generally not for a like-for-like replacement. Conservation areas, listed buildings and any real change of material can bring rules in, and we will tell you before pricing.

It comes down to the house, the pitch and the budget. Slate suits older, steeper roofs and lasts longest. Clay or concrete tile is more economical and right for most twentieth-century housing. We bring samples and talk it through.
